Bedside readers
for the adult mind

The title Stoner with a boner is intended to polarize, you get it or you don’t. There’s a guy, he likes to party, this is his story (so far). His philosophy: If you, like me, like sex and, like me, like drugs, you may like sex on drugs, like me or you might not. And that’s cool too.

This is a pot-centric sexotic fictional memoir of a middle-aged stoner who narrates the days and nights of reefer and romance. The language is rich, the tone is wry. Snippets of toke-talk pepper the book for flavor. His recollections of a liberal love life are erotically detailed in his mind, uncensored, evocative.

Stoner is a bedside reader for the adult mind, you can read a little, read a lot, skip around…it doesn’t have to be linear. This is take-it-easy reading, sharp dialog, elegant prose, snappy attitude.

Kathleen K. is consistently praised for establishing tone and emotion, and has arranged for us to oversee this union of a healthy man-body and a counterculture mind, depicting our narrator seeking balance. His skill pleasing women is not a trick, it is a knowing. Same so his art of cultivating a righteous high. He takes care with both because they are important to him.

The cover started with an ornate brass dual-hookah but that just wasn’t the right pipe… then I realized it had to be wood.

(The Weightless Joint)

Stoner's Bone of Contention

Stoner’s Bone of Contention is a stand-alone sequel that follows a bachelor herbalist in his quest for reefer and romance, seeking balance in his counterculture leanings.  He is exploring the abyss between men and women by diving in. His observations are wry and explicit with a twist of wit.

Stoner Advice:

Never roll just one joint.  If you have to ask why, don’t bother with the first one.
